In participation of National Make A Difference Day, Ms. Hecht and local Lost Boys volunteered their services at Kirby Smith Middle School, an inner city magnet school, sharing the story of the Lost Boys and Girls of Sudan and encouraging students and staff to volunteer and make a difference in the World! In each of our presentations, we stressed to students that it doesn't matter how old you are, the color of your skin, or the amount of money that you or your parents make; each of us has a God given gift that we can use to make a difference in the world. And local Lost Boys and Sudanese are leading the way by example!
